Useful Information

Do I need a doctor referral letter?

If you are suffering from an illness for which you are under the care of your doctor, and are unsure about having a massage, please visit me where you can collect a form in order to advise your GP as in come cases; complex issues may require a letter stating approval for treatment.

Consultation

We offer you 10 minutes consultation time on your first visit, therefore you are advised to visit 10 minutes before your appointment. If this is not the case, please be advised this will form part of the time allocated to you on your first appointment.

Arrival time

For your first consultation please leave enough time to find us. You are advised to arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointed time. If you are running late we will not be able to go over your appointed time, but make every effort to give you the best treatment possible with the remaining time that you do have.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing is ideal. During your massage treatment you will be asked to undress only down to underwear and covered with a large towel. Only the areas being treated at that time will be visible to me, whilst covering the rest of the body.

I am under 18, Can I have massage?

People under the age of 18 will require signed parental consent, or the presence of a consulting adult in the therapy room.

Can I bring my child/baby with me?

We recommend you arrange childcare in order to allow you to have quality time for your therapy. We do have a creche to help you arrange childcare. You are advised to register and,  where possible, make a booking at least a week in advance.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your health condition, lifestyle and goals –we recommend purchasing packages, which are of great financial benefit, and assist you in improving your condition.

Parking and Payments

Parking is free for 2.5 hours, you may have to wait for a space. Please allow time for this as availability depends on peak times or off-peak times. There is parking available on the neighbouring streets.

We take payments via Paypal. Credit or Debit Card/ Cash or you can make a Bank Transfer prior your appointment. Payments online available too.

Will my health insurance pay for my treatment?

Generally Holistic Massage is not covered. You will need to check with your policy provider. Remember if you’re Self Employed and the Holistic Massage sessions help you with work and your health then keep your receipts for your tax return.
